Dear Mr. Bassett:

On behalf of Governor George W. Bush and Secretary Dick Cheney, thank you for your invitation requesting that Governor Bush or Secretary Cheney participate in a town hall meeting, hosted by the Extraterrestrial Phenomena Political Action Committee, in Santa Clara, California in October.   They sincerely appreciate your thoughtful request.  Other scheduling commitments unfortunately preclude Governor Bush and Secretary Cheney from accepting your kind invitation.

Governor Bush and Secretary Cheney extend their sincere appreciation for your very gracious offer, and although they will be unable to join you in October, I encourage you to contact the Scheduling Office again in the future.

Very sincerely,

Helen Mobley
Deputy Director of Scheduling

Sen. Feinstein's California Senate campaign declined via phone.  No indication was given whether the Senator had any interest in the subjects of a UFO/ET coverup, intelligence agencies abuse or secrecy reform.  However, that may not reflect the Senator's actual position.

The Democrat Party, Gore/Lieberman campaign declined via phone message.

The Libertarian Party, Browne/Olivier campaign declined via phone call.

Via phone, California Campbell for Senate assistant campaign manager Dan Bingham made it quite clear Mr. Campbell has no interest in the subjects of a UFO/ET coverup, secrecy reform or intelligence agencies abuse.

Via phone, the Green Party Senate campaign of Medea Benjamin declined.
